Other FAQ's

  • Domestic Shipping

    How much is shipping?

    Standard ground shipping is free.

Priority shipping is a flat $8.95 for orders under $50, and free for orders $50+. Orders are processed within two business days and normally arrive within three more.

Do you ship outside of Canada and the U.S.?

Absolutely. Because USPS international shipping rates are so much lower than Canada Post's, we process our international orders through our U.S./International store. Select the U.S. flag at the top right of your screen (and yes, we're working on a flag + globe icon)!

International shipping is a flat $15.95 USD for orders. While we ship within two business days, your order may take two to four weeks to arrive. Also note that your shipment may incur customs and duties.

  • International shipments

    Will my package be tracked?

When we ship internationally, USPS is required to transfer all parcels to your country's postal service at customs. This means that we are unable to track the package beyond its arrival in your country. If you would like to track your package to your door, or learn if your region is eligible for express service, please email us at hello@unbelts.com.

Will I have to pay customs and duties?

We'd like to say no - but it's not up to us. Orders shipped to destinations outside of Canada, the U.S., and China may indeed be subject to to import duties and taxes. They're levied once a shipment reaches your country, and you will be responsible for paying all all additional charges for customs clearance.

As policies and charges vary by country, we highly recommend contacting your local customs office for further information.

  • Pricing

How do you set your pricing?

We believe that a business is not truly socially sustainable if its products or services are economically inaccessible. We recognize that our standard retail pricing, which accommodates higher-than-industry-standard environmental and social standards along our supply chain, is out of reach for some community members. To bridge the affordability gap, we have introduced:

    • No-interest payment by installments on our website

    • Almost Perfect sales of fully-warrantied Unbelts with very small sewing or fabric imperfections that do not affect overall appearance or functionality.*

    • Donation programs are in place to help make our cloth face masks available and accessible through our community donation requests, mask for schools and additional programs.

*Almost perfect belts are available via donation requests. We also hold a semi-annual sale on our Almost Perfects, subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know about this and other deals.
