Belts made from plastic bottles? You betcha.

All Intrepid and 10-Year Kids yarn is made using recycled polyester from reclaimed PET beverage bottles.

Made locally, globally and ethically.

Unbelts was started with two goals in mind: helping people feel great in their jeans, and creating quality jobs for the people throughout our supply chain. We've got twin studios - one in our hometown of Edmonton AB, Canada, one in Changping, China - both offering living wages, stable hours, and upward mobility.

Unbelts are made to be worn and loved for hundreds of wears - and to be repairable when they do reach the end of their first life. Free repairs, along with in-house upcycling, mean less waste and sustained quality.

In 2015, Unbelts joined the ranks of brands like Patagonia and Eileen Fisher in certifying as a B Corporation. B Corporations meet the highest verified standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.

FAQ

how long do tee dots last?

On a standard cotton tee shirt, a correctly applied Tee Dot can be expected to last 5 or more washes. Every machine and item of clothing is a little different.

If your Tee Dots are lasting fewer than 5 washes, email us at: customerservice@unbelts.com.

When and how should I use heat?

Use heat to prolong the effectiveness of your Tee Dots *if* the care tag on your garment says it's iron-safe. Look for the symbol next to this question. If the symbol is crossed out, your item cannot be ironed.

Use a dry iron or hair dryer on the highest heat setting your garment is rated for. Apply heat for 30 seconds. Placing a cotton rag between the iron and the garment will give you some extra protection.

can tee dots go in the washer/dryer?

Anything your clothes can handle, Tee Dots can handle too. Wash as directed by the care label.

Tee Dots are semi-permanent. To prevent loose Tee Dots from getting lost in the machine or migrating to other items, use a mesh laundry bag.

Can I use tee dots on [insert material here]?

Our testing was done on cotton tee shirts, and that's what our directions and success metrics are based on. That being said, our team members have repaired sweaters, raincoats, and even shoes using Tee Dots.

We'd love to hear what you've tried, and whether the repair was successful. Email us at customerservice@unbelts.com or DM us @unbelts. Pictures are appreciated! :)
