As a manufacturer, we have a responsibility to extend the lives of the products we put out into the world. That's why from January 17 to February 29 2020 we are beta-testing a belt buyback program to extend the useful life of our pant-keeper-uppers.
Send us any Unbelts you no longer love, and we’ll send you a $10 online gift card to spend this spring on something that’ll really make your heart sing. It’s really easy to do, as Unbelts are designed to be friendly in the mail - in fact, you can send it to us for only a few bucks. Here's how:
Step 1: Choose a sturdy envelope no larger than 6 1/8" x 11 1/2". Address your envelope to:
(If you’re in Canada): 9909 72 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6E 0Z2
(If you’re in the U.S.): 3610 W 7 St, Lawrence, KS 66049
Step 2: Fold your Unbelt to fit into a standard letter mail envelope.
For Classics, slide the adjuster to be about 4" from the clasped buckle, and lay the belt flat. Then fold in half.
For Intrepids, slide the adjuster about 6" from the buckle, and lay flat in a zig-zag pattern at an even length. Then tuck the ends underneath, until you have two folded rows.
Note that these measurements may vary depending on your envelope. The goal is to have your belts sit as flat as possible.
Step 3: Include a note inside the envelope with your name and email address.
This is where we will send your $10 digital gift card. It's super helpful if you include a few notes about why you are sending us your belt. Your best limerick is also appreciated but not required.
Step 4: Send in the mail via USPS
If you are sending from home, affix 2 regular stamps (Classic) or 3 regular stamps (Intrepid) to your envelope and drop in your nearby post box, or you can bring to your local post office for an exact postage rate stamp.
Step 5: Once we receive your belt back at the studio, we’ll email you your custom $10 online gift card.
You can use this to purchase a new belt on our website until December 31, 2020.
As always, we're available at email@example.com if you have any questions and we hope to see your belts soon.
